OH AND YEY!!! my flight got extended!!! instead of flying off on the 23rd im flying off on 25 night! wooo yey get to stay at least one weekend in sg... i will be able to eat nasi lemak!

went to watcht he producers last night at The Theatre Royal Drury Lane. My god it was soooooooooooo funny! you should catch the movie or if the musical ever comes to singapore or if you come up to london, watch the musical man..really funny haha

anyway Nick and I came up with an idea we wanna start a west end theatre club n college. So you know we can watch musicals and hopefully we can write to various ticketing companies and get discounts like how the staff in ctc does. They get the best seats in the house for Mamma MIa for only 30 pounds i think thats a 20 pounds discount!!! and its not for students so whats new ey.. nad mrs everitt's reason was "how can we dance and disco with students around?" haha oh well its true i dun really wanna see ctc staff shaking heir booties.

anyway hari raya is coming! argh...should i listen to hari raya song? or shouldnt i dilemma dilemma...ill start missing home.. oh well

GOD! it has been a long time! a really long long time since i updated. Dont even know if people sitll bother checking back here actually. But its ok i suddenly feel like blogging.

SO back in Croydon! goodness one year has passed and i dont even feel like ive been back in singapore for two months. Felt like i never went home actually. Anyway brilliant brilliant. Some changes in college the student lounge is now a cybercafe though its so flippin hot. But i guess itll get nicer in the winter when it'll be freezing outside. Oh and another good thing about it is that the BI's wont hog that area anymore. If you know what i mean by BI

Oh and i changed my bio teacher! woohoo!! I got miss hammett i got miss hammett! (dances in front of all my former bio teachers students) haha. Miss Hammett rocks man seriously. She is god sent. Very encouraging very supportive. Bio all the way man!

Chem is the same teacher Miss Witham! another brilliant teacher hahaha she is damn funny la seriously very sarcastic about everythign but she is nice. Brilliant lady as well graduated from Oxford. Today we had chem practical assesment and one of my classmates broke the damn mercury thermometer! any idea how dangerous mercury is! it vapourises very easily and it rots away the brain! If i die it'll be that dude's fault man.

Maths, Mrs G! haha nice lady smart teacher and she can teach really really well so no complaints there

however,

My physics teacher changedd!!! i loved mr connolly now its mr willoughby. Oh well he is not too bad i suppose only his class can get DAMN boring at times. I have to write notes in his class goodness gracious me! cant remember the last time i had to write out physics notes. Physics now is quite different very theory based not hundred percent of substituting figures into formulas.

Oh classmates changed as well haha. Xiang May Ryan Nick and few others are now my classmates hahahaa... cant concentrate with xiang man hahahaha funny dude la he... zang( like how the ang mohs call him) has his own language well not really his own language he sorts of like uses his computer gaming language in real life. So it sounds really retarded haha e.g "Zom! i dont know how to do man! gg*"

got this joke form my uncle by e mail...damn funnyly stupid so thought id share it enjoy! (by the way, i have no idea what a bihari hat seller is but thats not the point haha)

A Bihari hat-seller who was passing by a forest decided to take a nap under one of the trees, so he left his whole basket of hats by the side.
A few hours later, he woke up and realized that all his hats were gone.
He looked up and to his surprise, the tree was full of monkeys and they had taken all his hats. The Bihari sits down and thinks of how he can get the hats down.

While thinking he started to scratch his head. The next moment the monkeys were doing the same. Next, he took down his own hat, the monkeys did exactly the same. An idea came to him, he took his hat and threw it on the floor and the monkeys did that too. So he finally managed to get all his hats back.

Fifty years later, his grandson, Laloo, also became a hat-seller and had heard this monkey story from his grandfather. One day, just like his grandfather, he passed by the same forest. It was very hot, and he took a nap under the same tree and left the hats on the floor.
He woke up and realized that all his hats were taken by the monkeys on the tree. He remembered his grand father's words, started scratching his head and the monkeys followed. Happenings man well went ot see fireworks at marina bay. Saw three shows. The Italian team, Singapore team and the french team. I loved the singapore one the most it was really beautiful yeah.. those who missed it... you have to wait till next year hahaha.

SO yeah some malaysian friends came down to singapore, lionel, li ai, aik seng, celine(who came for a while). COolios man.

So i went for attachment yesterday and thursday. WOW clinic was beautiful man. They were playing classical music throughout all the rooms really nice. The dental assistants there were nice too! hahaha very friendly bunch twas fun hanging aorund with them. Oh must thank correen a lot. BIG THANK YOU TO COREEN! (eventhough i know you dont read my blog but..haha)

You guys heard about whats happenin in london? bloody hell man this nonsense has got to stop. People are just sick and tired of these terrorist. GO TO HELL TERRORISTS! RRRR! such a waste of news broadcasting time. Why cant the news be about countries froging friendships about people helping one another to lead better lives. Before i start on my next post let me just tell you all, religion aside this is a question of morals.

The war in Lebanon is getting worse as the days pass Israel is continously attacking lebanon in efforts to capture the hezbollah group in lebanon who are labelled as terrorists because they continously fire rocket shells into israeli cities.

Israel, is basically well a big bully. They label the palestinian political group Hamas as terrorists as well because hamas are also continously fighting with the israelis. By the way do you know that israel land belongs to the palestinians? The americans just gave that part of land to the israeli many many years ago. The reason palestine was chosen for the israelis is well because palestine is a weak country. Now, if someone comes and invade your home dont you have an obligation to protect it? Isnt it your responsibility to fight for your home and your land? So are you a terrorist for doing so?

Secondly if an ally comes in to help palestine (lebanon) to regain back their land, are they also considered terrorists? As we all know, israel and america are allies. So doesnt that make the americans terrorists themselves? Why issit that the americans can help the israeli displace the palestinians and lebanon cant help palestine?

This war is definitely wrong. No question about it.Hezbollah is a very popular political group with the lebanese people. I watched a bbc documentary a few days ago and they interviewed a lebanese family and one lady was mentioning how after a military attack by the israelis, hezbollah sent a truck loaded with windows and doors and went to every house and asked the occupants if they wanted theirs repaired. Can you name me any other government who cares so much for their citizens?

So now why is the world so quiet? why is no one helping? Well for starters, everyone knows that Israel is wrong. Think about it if the world feels the war is justified wouldnt they send troops to israel to end the war as soon as possible? So why dont the world send troops to lebanon? WELL, because if they do, the americans will label these countries as nations who support the terrorists! And of course the americans will impose economic sanctions on these nations and cripple their economy. So basically to sum up on this point, the world dont give a shit about human lives. They care only about themselves and their economic interests. So dont tell me the UN is here to help countries resolve issues. BULLSHIT! the united nations is useless. They were'nt there to help the iraqis and now they arent gonna help the lebanese as well. The united nations should be renamed the allies of america.

Now the americans are injecting more violence into the situation. The israleis jsut want hte hezbollah arrest but the americans want the allies of lebanon syria and iran to be humiliated as well. Now what rubbish is this? They are instigating more violence between the israelis and the rest of the surrounding arab nations. Why dont israel attack countires like Iran? Because Iran is not weak. They have strong military capabilities and possibly (according to the americans who are trying to stop iran from having a nuclear facility) nuclear weapons.

Sometimes people say bad things about National Service and how useless it is. I personally think National Service ensures that we constantly have an army to protect the country and the two years which we singapore boys invest in to protect the nation, is two years well spent. We all know, we cant trust the United Nations.

I dont care what race or religion you are or wether you hate a particular religion or not. EVERYONE has the right to live and everyone has the right to their home. You have to learn to live together wether you like it or not. Now thats your own war to fight within yourself.

Okay why you shouldnt watch singapore idol...

Before i start, this is my point of view if you disagree or agree, just tag on my tagboard and we shall discuss it. But since its my blog i get to say what i feel! HAHAH okay enough about me

Lets start with American Idol. Ask yourself what is the purpose of american idol?? The purpose is to search for talent among the normal-everyday americans and showcase their talents in front of America as well as the world. This is very good exposure especially since the three judges are world famous and are sought after by everyone and anyone who wants to make it big. The three judges in american idol im sure as you know are simon, paula and randy. So these young talented americans have the right exposure to the right people and are for sure to make it big in the music industry. Mainly because the JUDGES know what it takes to make it big in the music industry.

Singapore idol. Same purpose no standard. Not the contestants, the judges. Dick, Florence, Jacintha and i forgot the last one; they had to put four. haha. Now lets see, who are these judges? Honestly i have no idea. Because they are literally, nobody! Okay some of you may argue that dick lee is popular in japan etc. If you are a contestant and your ultimate goal is to be famous regionally is that really good enough? Id say you are pathetic. Now, let me ask you can you name me one internationally renowned musician who has made it to the billboard charts who has a recording contract under one of the sg idol "judges". I thought so you CANT! So now what right do these "judges" have to comment on the performance of the contestants when they themselves do NOT KNOW what it takes to make it big in the industry? Its like ME teaching someone malay! Yes, the situation is that bad.In american idol, the judges are somebody. If i am not wrong, i think simon gave a recording contract to britney spears. Now we all know who britney is innit.

Now that i have explained the about the "judges" , why are we still calling in to vote for all these contestants to stay??? THINK ABOUT IT! The contestants are young. For those contestants who are still studying i seriously hope they have not neglected their studies. No one in the competition is going to make it big in the local music industry even though they have the talent . REASON? THE "JUDGES" are nobody. They cant help you, heck if they had strong contacts to make it big, they will probably run and leave you. Think about it the music industry is all about contacts. If paris hilton can make a music video, anyone can.Its absolutely ridiculous! Thats why i feel very sorry for all the contestants who are still in the show right now. They are digging their own grave. The fame and joy of being a singapore idol will be short lived. I think the biggest thing you are gonna do as a sg idol is sing at the national day. woopedy doo! hasnt it always been your dream to perform at the kallang stadium on the 9th of august?

VOTING. It costs 60 cents to send one sms. what nonsense is this? havent you asked yourself why the hell it costs so much. 60 sends for one LOCAL sms is not cheap mind you. It is cheaper to send an sms from london to singapore!
Think about it, you as the viewer and supporter, sends a 60 cents local sms to keep your favourite singer in, giving them false hopes by letting them stay in the competition longer, when your idol finally wins and releases his/her first album, YOU DOWNLOAD THE SONGS and not buy their cd legally. In the end, because singapore market is so smalll, (4 million people in singapore do you think everyone will buy a cd each?) your idol will have terribly low record sales and in the end your idol will get dumped by the record company. Where is the idol now? BACK TO SQUARE ONE! where he/she began.

Am i talking rubbish? Let me remind you of our first sg idol Taufik. He has got talent he is a good performer i give it to him friendly chap as well. But last thing i heard of him he broke off with his record company due to some problems which i am not sure about. So where is taufik now? I honestly dont know. But taufik has been performing with his group for quite some time so i hope he is doing well wherever he is.

So whats the deal about singapore idol? well its $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Who makes the money? we all know who. Publicity about this show is going crazy you cant avoid it its everywhere. The whole nation is being fooled into supporting the show and buying magazines and paying for extra scenes of the show providing revenue for the money making company. Everyone ultimately looses except.......

My conclusion, Singapore idol is just a money making, airtime wasting show which gives false hopes to the youths. Its a failure.

To the contestants, i apologise but i have not heard any of you sing but i am quite sure you all have talent. I know i cant sing like that (or maybe at not all hehe)

9 July 2006 FIFA World Cup Finals, Olympiastadion, Berlin! Italy Vs France! Oh my god what a game what a game. Italy and France both played brilliantly goodness. And we all know about the very famous headbutt by out dear zizou ey? It was so funny cos no one in the stadium saw the headbutt cos i happened away form the ball so the referee and the italians got jeered all the way. Can you imagine 60,000 people jeering the italians! It was so obvious towards the last ten minutes before entering penalty shootouts they couldn't play it. Anyway the italians still won thank god for that! haha. But htey played a better game against Germany. Anyway enought match analysis down to the good stuff the pictures!

wow what a week in the FIFA world cup. Brazil lost to france AGAIN! can you believe it! all the best players in the world cant beat france on one hand well done to rance on the other hand shame brazil! damn the only team which i truly supported. But i guess even winners have to loose ey? did feel brazil were overconfident and they have not been playing at their best anyway.

On a brighter note. England lost by peanlty kicks to portugal! muahah! god england is really bad at penalty kicks. Missed three! and all saved by the portugese keeper. (if my memory serves me right) brilliant. Portugal were really a better team though. I love nandos! okay. hahaha. Well we went for the england vs Portugal match and it was at gelsenkirchen! pture time! btw we had brilliant seats. Row six. So you can imagine how close we were to the field.hehe. okay pictures pictures haha. OH i must also add, english fans though they can be hooligans at times, are such fun football fans. They cheer for the english team throughout the whole game and it was non stop. Brilliant. They sang god save the queen countless of times and of course i joined in during the "god save the queen" part cos thats the only part of the lyrics i knew. haha.

Okay this is a little bit too late but nvm hahaha. So next match went for Saudi Arabia vs Spain! Wohoo and i wnet as a saudi supporter even though i knew they were gonna loose. But not bad ey i expected htem to loose like 10-0 or somehting but only lost 1-0 AND they played quite a good second half only thing they got terrible strikers so their shots are really terrible but they manage to bring the ball close enough to the goal post. But spain lost to france now and france is going on to meet brasil! wohoo deja-vu. Brasil lost to france in the finals in 1998 giving france their stupid first and only world cup win. Brasil better play a brilliant game to regain themselves. OH hahaha which reminds me anyone watched Italy- Australia game?? SAD MAN HAHAHA last second italy got a penalty. heheh funny.

SO the match was at kaiserlsautern! yeap this is the standard introductory picture of the city name banners hung up on lampposts haha. Stupid place man kaiserslautern seriously we had to take a train from the main station for one blardy hour. Can you imagine and the train was sooo packed cos the train was one of those small ass trains. BUT anyway kaiserslautern is the smallest host city in germany.

SO my day started at 5 am. When hilary called me (wake up call) and the conversation went something like this

And click the phone went dead haha. Those are gunts btw for those of you thinking of something else. haha reminds me of one time when hafiz( i dunnoe if you remember this fiz) gave me a wake up call very early in the morning at about 11 am, he also just woke up and we ended up just exchanging "grrhs" and "hmms". hahaha oddly enough we did mangage to meet at the correct place and time hahah!

SO ANYWAY i woke up at 5 cos hilary is going back home! hehe she is very exited which is good, she has been through a lot its good to go back to your family after about 6 months ey. SO we took the bus it was a smooth ride. Oh let me jsut mention i woke up and took a sohwer at 5 am but the heater was not on and for some weird reason it was so chily this morning. so i was hsiverin in the toilet and i laughed at myself for shivering haha.

At the airport we had breakfast and stuff and i saw her travel puch thingy and i wanted one so badly! hahah. Its really useful man rather than stuffing all my boarding passes between the pages of my passport and end up it being so crumpled.

After saying goodbye rushed back. Had to catch celine as well she left today too. Before that i went to covent garden to get some last minute presents. Went to school and bade celine goodbye.

SO the rest of my day went on pretty full of saying goodbye to a lot of people. Oh btw for those who are confused its the last day of term.

Went home after that and started packing. Oh my days. A luggage full of books flippin 'ell man do you have any idea how heavy it is? Its ridiculous! almost broke my back carrying in three storeys down. When are digital books gonna be introduced into schools man. heavy heavy. Yeah so then took a minicab to the store and dumped everything in there and walked back home.

While walking along brighton road was quite near to hilary and celine's house. Thought of asking them out for supper or something BUT they left. Oh man quite sad ey. And i started thinking about next term im gonna move elsewhere. Things will be quite diferent next term. No more impromptu come out of your house to eat kinda thing. You know what i mean. Oh god i hate sugababes. sorry just saw and advertisement on sugababes.

My hostess aunty said this which she quoted from one of the maulana's not sure who "When you are alive people pray for your company and when you die people mourn your loss, then it is certain you have lead a very meaningful life" yeah it went somehting like that. You get the jist of it.

Ok got to return packing. Falling sick though my throat hurts.

gonna end of with this. Hilary is the first and only person i have seen who actually spoke to her luggage and asked her luggage to make friends with other luggages. HAHAH!

Cambridge Tutors College Summer Ball

WOW! ctc ball was last night was an absolute blast! It is so fun it was great its just well brilliant! hahah! it was cool man. I went with maisarah and must say she looked realy really nice and put in a lot of effort into dressing up. hehe.. Alot of ppl looked so different you couldnt even recognise them. Mrs brown couldnt even rocgnise bako (who was one of the members on the ball organising committee). I really felt sorry for those who dint go. They missed a lot. seriously.

SO anyway after entering the ballroom with a champagne-syle welcome, met everyone took pictures (which i will post up soon enough when i have time) then we all sat and had dinner. Then the fun began hahaha the musi was turned up and it bacame a flippin disco man! hahahah brilliant man havent gone clubbing since april. was really fun to let loose and jsut dance the night away. Then halfway they stipped and gave out the various prizes and the waltz came on. HAHA well we couldnt really waltz but we tried and i think we did okay considering we practised only for a few minutes prior to that. After that waltz it was party all night long! all the way till 5 to twelve before the event ended we had one last waltz with the veyr apt song The last waltz. Ended up just slow dancing though hahah but nvm it was all good.

It was such a brilliant night i went home and felt really sad. When i reached home i realised i missed someone's company a lot..............................even till now.

i realise this entry looks like somehting you would write for a primary school essay on what you did at the ball. you know those kind of essays in primary school where after every holiday your english teacher willa ks you to write and essay about what you did over the holidays haha..

Yey im finally back! and yey im finally updating my blog! hahahah

Well must say flight was quite terrible.Luckily flew with friends at least got people to talk cock to. Air france ground crew was very slow especially during the check in at heathrow. Only one counter was open and there were like two flights within an hour of each other. So you can imagine how bloody long the que was. PLUS Lee j and jos's bags got stuck in paris. No idea how that happened.

ANYHOo as always its good to be back! Local weather local food local chinese girls hahahah..... family friends etc etc.

WOW! happy birthday to me! hahahahaha.. 18 an adult age.. haha....

Well i dint really celebrate it on sunday itself the happenign times were more on saturday.. brouh tsome people to leceister square tgi friday for dinner. Tgi was cool hahahaah though it was a bit embarassing when they made me stand on the chair and made the restaurant (or at least those people not busy eating) sing a birthday song for me hahahaha.... well anyway yeah we had dinner thanks to everyone who came and thanks for the presents. Really appreciate it.

Talking about presents hahahaha thanks everyone for the maxim (especially the cd good stuff hahahaha mai you may want it may have things you like hahaha) the tigger boxers, the top shop voucher, the shirt, the cards and the notes on the tissue paper. Means a lot to me thank you very much.

WEKK ANYWAY after that to finish off, the legal age peeps (including me excluding xiang who borrwed someone elses id) went clibbing at NYT. HAHAHA first time going to club. It was fun actually though the music kinda changed a lot from techno to rnb i would have preferred it stayed rnb. OH and there was a bhangrah song in the middle hahahahah uqite fun to dance and look at ppl hahahaha.... lesbian action all around man. Hot stuff. OKAY i know i complained about my room beofre but today its somehow seirously gotten really bad. I am moving out next friday i cant wait. But for now i am so damn irritated being in this fucked up room its so small that opening the drawer to take my clothes and walking is an impossible feat. Its pathetic man. Even animals live in better conditions. I jsut feel so pissed wiht everyone and everybody who has a part to play in me ending up in this shit hole. I have no idea why the hell CTC gives students such small rooms. You know it gets really bad. Firslty there is not enough cupboards to store my clothes and jackets and books so they end up lying lal ove rmy room. And then there is no space to walk due to that what the hell man. And the windows omg its closed but there is wind coming in!!! you have any idea how cold it is! ERGH!Cant even study here the stupid desk is rite beside the useless and defective window. I think the window is there jsut for show. ok relax faisal relax. I am so sick of hearing myself complaining about my room really really sick of it. And i think my friends are sick of it too. I shall just keep it to myself and my blog then.

Munich go watch it! is good. i like it its very long though almost three hours long but its really good. Makes you think about the world we live in.

Hmm talking about this evil world which we live in heard the news about the cartoons?? goodness once again the reputation of muslims is being tarnished. Look at how the muslims around the world behave burning this burning that wanting to kill so and so demanding for their heads to be chopped off. Come on what denmark did was wrong but for you to behave like hooligans is even worse. There are more diplomatic ways to handle this issue and calling out for murder is not the answer. Don't you realise you are ultimately putting yourself in danger? you make islam look like a violent religion. True enough it is blasphemy and in our religion it is a great sin. But the danish have their own religion you cant expect to enforce our islamic values on them. They have their own religion and their own rules. Respect them. The danish should respect muslims and not mock the prophet and the muslims should respect the danish and not harm the innocent danish people. You cant punish the whole country for the crimes of some citizens. This issue can be settled peacefully. Grow up both of you and behave yourself.

ANd have to catch up on the stupid topic in bio where my "teacher" apparantly "taught" us but i had no idea what the hell she was talking about. She just started the topic by bombarding us with all kinds of rubbish with no proper sequence. sheesh thank god i found a book i can rely on in the library. Have to read up all that and finish the study guide.

Goodness Gracious me!! cant believe its my turn now. Just a couple of months ago the 18 month course students were so stressed about this bio project and now its me!! god!

It is called bio t1. What does T1 mean anyway? is it an abbreviation for something? if it is what is it? ANyway its basically a bio project you have to come up with some experiment, write a ridicoulously long hypothesis only to have your teacher mark you down. And of course you have to carry out the experiment. YUCKS. And im doing on daphnia have to handle pond water. HAHA gross shit man...

Oh by the way QONG XI FA CAI! happy new year! welcome the year of the dog! hahaha... gonna have osme cny dinner tmr night. With two russians, three chinese and one indian (me!) what a cny dinner it will be! haha...

Hmm just thought of all the schools and cc chinese orchestra's all around singapore playing the same ol song which they play every year in their respective schools and cc's haha.. personally i hated chinese new year concerts. But from the cc i came from that was the only time we performed! gosh incompetent orchestra managers. Pathetic.

Test periods starting next week. Hmmm i realise the test periods are very useful. Its very motivating and it will keep you on your feet the whole time. hehe... been slacking like mad the past few weeks. Probably cos i was sick. What an excuse.

OH YEAH it was snowign yesterday!! how cool is that! hahaha....right after college it started snowing and this indian guy started singing christmas songs. what the hell man.haha.. but it was snowing quite heavily later on. Unfortunately it wasnt cold enough for the snow to stay and it melted.

My physics teacher impressed me the other day. He was doing a formula of something to do with graphs and he related this to that and this minus that therefore this equals that. I was so amazed and i started clapping and gave him a standing ovation wahaha...cool teacher man. Well what do you expect he graduated from Cambridge University with a masters in physics! My chemistry teacher has a masters or degree cant remember form university of Oxford! and my bio teacher, some pokra uni (maybe thats why she doesnt know how to teach) heh..

WOW percuz-shiok concert was great. But i was quite bored though cos i ended up doing emceeing while the others had fun playing.. haha according to Sir Liang one guy wrote in his blog

MANNN!!! school gonna start in a few days. I thought i was flying off on tuesday but im flying off on monday!!! (2nd Jan) hmmmmmm.... need to really start doing homework.

Just want to mention something. You know about the ridiculous causeway jams in woodlands??? It can actually be cleared if all the counters were open which means having to employ more immigration officers. So you may ask then why don't they employ more?? well thing is if you do go ahead and employ extra workers, the jam can be cleared in 30 minutes. Now what are the officers gonna do for the next 7.5 hours??? Its public funds which is used to pay these people. Thats acccording to my dad as to why they dont employ more people. Its a valid point and i accept it. But then again if you leave the situation as it is you are making a lot of singaporeans really really unhappy. Have you seen how terrible the Singapore side jam is?? it is unbearable. Gonna take you at least 2 hours to clear immigration. I think they should have a fair balance you know. It is not necessary to open all the counters (though i dont see why they build so many counters in the first place if they have no intention of utilising all of it) but at least a fair amount to let the traffic be moving.

WEll tomorrow is a christmas talent show. Nick and I gonna play something but have not practiced and only gonna practise tomorrow morning. Hahah good luck to us.

Christmas atmosphere is just amazing you have carols singing everywhere and small little ensembles, quartets and bands playing. Its so festive so nice so friendly and very welcoming. It reminds me a lt of Mr bean though WAHAHA.. that dumb ass. I used to admire him a lot when i was young to be honest with you. Now i admire Rowan atkinson (mr beans real name for those who dont know) in Blackadder. VERY FUNNY! you must watch blackadder. Its one of the funniest comedies ever.

A Little More about US

PerCuz-Shiok! is a local percussion group made up of young and vibrant individuals. As the name suggests, PerCuz-Shiok! is dedicated to making percussion fun for people of all ages, to play percussion because its SHIOK! (PerC - short form for percussion, Cuz is SMS language for "because", and Shiok! is a local term.)

Members include: Ng Su Yi, Eugene Toh, Chen Kangren, Ong Yanyi, Ng Sirliang, Faisal bin Abdul Aziz, William Loo, Yang Yawen and Ong Teck Min.

Music include Afro-Amero, Stinkin' Garbage, Clap Happy, and traditional Chinese percussion like Soaring Firecrackers and Squabbling Ducks. Where the Spirit Matters, a new percussion piece by Yuan Peiying, will also be featured.

anyway its getting shit cold here...its weird cos its like one weekend was 16 17 and suddenly one monday omonring you go out of hte house at 1 degree celcius..what the hell..but anyway the parks now are very beautiful..the leaves are all turning brown on some really cold days you can see the dew frozen on the tip of the grass.. just some beautiful sights which you can never see in singapore.

Talking bout home.... 4 MORE WEEKS TO CHRISTMAS!!! wow i woke up this morning realising how long i have been away from home....everythign jsut feels weird suddenly...but hey nvm going back soon and cant wait...lots of htings to do at home..meet ppl and im acutally quite excited for the percuz-shiok concert on 24th december.....

WOW ok i know this entry is belated but on last wednesday went ot watch phanotm of the opera...it was amazing!!! the effects and there was even a live orchestra! well actually no words can really describe the intensity of the show..you have ot ocme down to watch it. ANYWAY we got tickets to watch PHANTOM OF THE OPERA the brilliant original!!!!! HOW COOL IS THAT !!! wow its on wednesday at her majesty's theatre...really really really lookign forward to it..its the longest running musical for over 20 years its been showing every night....quite a lot of us going...the totla tix cos about 340 pounds which is close to 1k sing dollars wahahahahah...but its money well spent (i hope at least) yey!

Tomorrow going to brighton. hope everything goes well

Lastly saturday is CARMINA BURANA! wow hahahaha i cant beleive im going for two concerts in a week.

goodness...paintball was just terrible. It was fun but a lot of people got hurt. It was my first time and it was fun but i got hurt. I got a cut on my fingers and a circular bruise on my head and my back. But im considered lucky. Look at the others especially J. She had to go for operation on her arm...god hahaha what a violent game...

Anyway just realised that eid is ocming in two weeks. WOW saturday was really something new..a whole new experience for me hehehe....well in the morning mrs rasheed brought me out for lunch at some thosai place hahaha...twas really good i was just htinking about komala vilas thosai just hte night before... the menu was interesting because htey had like tikka masala dosai etc etc...whenw e wanted to tkae the order..the mamak fellow was like "try this onion rawa dosai and masala dosai very good ok? ok den you can have some chat and vadeh ok? all right" and both fo us were like "huh oh ok" hahahahah but it was quite good.

Anyway after that mrs rasheed brought me out shopping and she ogt me a winter jacket!! how nice of her...she gave me as an advanced eid gift....so generous of her hahaha..and i neede a winter jacket...so i wanna say a big huge thank you to mrs rasheed! hahaha...well anyway after that she brought me to her friends place cos there was some gathering and the family invited me as well...such a nice family.......very friendly its amazing... they were all talking in punjabi (sounds an awful lot like hindi) and it was so funny cos i was expecitng them to break into a song at any moment...hahahahaha...i was htinking in my head what kind of song will suit the occassion the best gahahahahahaha.....but very nice family... the lady was like "beta are you allright beta?" hahahaha......cool man...

anyway i walked out of the house htis morning heading for school and guess what!! smoke came out of my mouth! WOW! hahahaha yes yes i know i sound so "jakon" but hey hahahahaha there is only one first time in my life when smoke gonna come out from my mouth (especially since i dont smoke) hahaha

yes, what...thats my title of the blog for today because i really do not know what to write about hahahahaha..nothing much really happening everythign just going on as per normal. Home. Thats where i want to be right now . No where else. Ive been thinking alot about going back home these past few days. I do not know hwy but i just miss it so so so much.. i miss everyone and e verythign at home. I never expected to be soo home sick. I guess its especially difficult when ramadhan is coming and eid as well. Many traditions which i have been practising with my family over the past 16 years will have to start changing. From breaking fast with vadeh and green chilli which my dad would buy form the bazaar to going for morning eid prayers. I can imgaine how quiet my house is right now. My bro in camp and me here and my mum and dad alone at home. Haix....just missing a lot of things. Percuz-shiok (i enjoyed goign for practise though the place is ridiculously far..can you imagine form simei all the way to Chua Chu kang! Exactly i can bet some of you rite now going "where the hell is chua chu kang!?!?" hahaha) Man, olin, syidi (btw what happen to you its like you got abducted by some alien nurses), Hafiz, Shi wei, Nadzim You guys are the best..... All the MJC peepz i really never thought we will all be so close even after so long of going different ways.. and all the orchestra friends u guys make me appreciate music more and also appreciate the finer things in life. My family, i can only say i owe everything to you especially my parents. Thank u allah for everything......

Well there were three ppl... the old lady (the speaker) one mama fellow (an extra person who will be involved in this story in a bit) and one more guy (brown fellow who is a very funny guy and like to irritate ppl) well, the old lady was talking about immigrants coming to london and how they should have their own guts to stay in their own country instead of coming to england and running away. Then she was continuing about that and saying immigrants are gutless and we sould drive all the immigrants out. Then the brown guy gave some comment and she was irritated and said "shut up you brown man you are a whore!" hhahaha and the brown man replied "im not a whore im from lahore!" HAHAH it was so funny and the old lady just got more irritated hahahaha...den she continued again about immigrants den the mama came in.... hAHAH the mama was like " why you saying this things why you htink we immigrants come here for fun?? i here for twenty over years what you thinkin? we contribute to your economy!" and the brown man replied jokingly to him " HEY MAN! YOU CAN KEEP YOUR CHICKEN MASALA WE LIKE OUR FISH N CHIPS!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH it as so funny...i almost fell to my feet laughing!! hzhahaha butitss great fun...im going to go there every sunday...definitely....hahahaha.....

Then in hyde park there were ppl talking about all sorts of htings...one guy was talking about girls and how they should wear short skirts and not be fat hahahahahahahaha...what an ass man that guy hahaha..but its cool you can see how the ppl think and make them feel what they do.. but a lot of it is like gone ot waste i feel haha cos ppl just go there and make a fool out of the speakers hahaha..but its fun fun fun....something which you will never get in where we are.. Freedom of speech.

ANYWAY got a bio test comin up.....every other day i have test for different subjects....and its under exam conditions in the hall!! its like o levels all over again hahaha...gtg bubbye!!!

finally started school

HELLO!!! ahah finally shcool has started..its quite a cool school very firendly ppl..but i still havent settled in yet...met quite a few ppl.....loads of asians here...its cool..hahahahaha....but anyway the timetabling here is just like polytechnic..lessons start late you can come in late etc...and its hard to amke friends cos different classes got diff ppl..anyway....i had bio chem and physics yesterday..classes are small like 6 to a class....its cool hahahaha i better stop using the word cool hahaha..

there is no orientation but i think later at 1 pm there iwll be a meet and greet thingy but i got class...arghh hahaha..anyway lessons starting soon keep you updated soon bye!!!
